Maria successfully graduated with a B.A. in Science from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. She joined VFG Financial Group in 1996 and since then she has graduated from many different management positions leading to her current position of Managing Director.
As Managing Director, Maria is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, with focus on recruitment, contracting, compensation, supervising brokers, logistics, office technology, organizing broker events, and liaising with the insurance carriers to ensure a superior customer service experience.
Maria’s education, skills, and extensive knowledge in the financial sector make her the ideal individual to provide excellence and differentiation to VFG Financial Group’s associates and clients alike.
Maria’s primary goal is to continue to build and maintain VFG’s great reputation, to differentiate in the marketplace, and to provide superior client & advisor satisfaction.

Don began his career in the financial services industry in 1987 with Mutual Of Omaha as an agent knocking on doors. Since then, he has held many progressive positions such as District Manager, General Manager, Vice President of Training & Development, President & CEO, followed by building a successful MGA with over 450 contracted advisors and owning a Mutual Fund Branch.
He has written 3 Canadian best-selling self-help books:

With over 30 years of experience, Don provides his leadership in the area of compliance, marketing, distribution, operations, sales, training, development. Don leads in elevating the advisor experience with VFG, ensuring that we meet our Corporate pledge to be the MGA of choice for independent advisors.

Rosilda successfully graduated from the University of Guelph in 2013 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing major), followed by obtaining a Diploma in Graphic Design and Interactive Media from the Toronto Film School. In January 2015 she joined the VFG Financial Group team of professionals as the Administration and Marketing Coordinator.
Rosilda is dedicated to providing support to our business partners with all aspects of business processing, settling and information on in-force business.
Her main responsibilities includes administrator/receptionist, processing & settling all new business, servicing in force business, pending business, ordering & follow-up on medicals, email inquiries, ICS and mail, boardroom scheduling, website and social media maintenance, and graphic design.
Rosilda’s goal is to continue with the VFG motto of building a great reputation, differentiating and providing 100% client satisfaction. She looks forward to speaking and assisting all of the VFG contracted independent brokers and new ones coming on board!
